We have an Evenflo Symphony 65 and a Maxi Cosi Priori. Like both of them a lot. The Evenflo does rear facing, forward facing, and booster. The Priori is good in a smaller car.
My current favorite is the Graco MySize70 (also known as the Size4Me or Headwise depending on the store).
Out of all suggested, only this one. And the Evenflo, like all 3 in 1 are terrible boosters. I'd much rather see a hbb used, unless lo is still not tall enough/heavy enough to booster correctly. Bare minimum 4 years 40 lbs, but I seriously don't know any 4 year old that is mature enough 100% of the time.
OP, these suggestions may be more helpful if you pass on stats, what car, how tall is lo, weight, shirt size, percentile if you know. Hopefully SCB sees the Bat signal.
Re: Convertible car seat
We love our Britax Boulevard. Shop around and check for sales. I got ours from Amazon for $207.

Diono Radian RXT for various reasons.
When I looked at the options we will likley go with one Britax Advocate. At least one, but likely both Britax Advocates because it offers the most side impact protection you can get on the market today, and Aubrey rides in the outboard seating position in my car.
