Beta Draw today

I had my beta draw today at 11dpo...I see the average range online is 5-426...that is huge...anyone have there betas done at 11dpo and what was the result.

I have a follow up draw Wednesday and a 3rd on Friday if I would like.

They also are testing my progesterone, what should that be? I saw 12-20, but my friend said she had to take supplements because hers was only 16...?

Thanks, sorry for the "newbie" questions, I have never had a beta draw before.

A beta that early may be on the lower end- but don't panic. 11dpo is very early to have a beta drawn! As for the progesterone, my RE doesn't test it but he just gives me the suppositories anyway. He said it fluctuates so much during the day it's difficult to get a good read on it. Good luck!

It looks like the median value is 24.

As for progesterone, it seems to depend on different OB/RE's if they are concerned or not. 16 is not a horrible number, but if your friend had a history of low progesterone previously or a luteal phase defect, maybe that is why she was on supps?

I was on a ton of supps (200 mg prometrium orally and endometrin vaginally) and my P4 was in the 20's for the first several weeks. I would say as long as it is above 15, you should be fine. If it's borderline or lower than 15, ask about supps.

I know this is dumb but I was thinking it would have to be over 50 since a digital came up positive...am I just talking out of my asss? ha

should I be getting the draw on Friday too then? I don't know if this is going to make me panic...I just want to be happy!

My 11 dpo beta was 44. I think for progesterone above 15 is good. That might just be what my OB likes to see though. Good luck!

I am getting a second draw on Wednesday, she said she would do another on Friday if I wanted....she said I could have as many as I want. I just don't know if it is needed if the ones from today to Wednesday show an appropriate doubling time.

I requested a third beta because I wanted to see more progress, but I waited a week after my first two. Then a saw a HUGE jump and it gave me some peace of mind to tide me over until my u/s next week.

As for the digital turning positive, I believe that when they indicate a sensitivity level that just means that they only guarantee it if your HCG is that high. It's possible that it could pick it up with a lower hcg level.

I use CBE Digitals and I got a + at 12dpo with my last pregnancy and a couple hours later my hCG tested at 17. I was convinced that my hCG would be way higher, because like you, I thought they started around 50, but not in my case I guess. I'm not trying to worry you or anything, I just wanted to point out you're super early. I'm sorry if I worried you Sad

If things are going well and your number rises appropriately, I would say don't go for another beta. I'm only doing 2 for that reason. Things are going well and I just want to be happy and not worry about every little thing.

ETA: I know you don't need me to point out that you're early... I hope I'm not coming off wrong, I just don't want you to worry is all.

My beta at 11dpo was 99. But like PPs said, it's the doubling that's important.

I *think* my progesterone was 18 on the first draw, but I can't remember for sure.

Ohh!! I had 3 total...14 and 16 dpo and then 20 dpo. At that point I was well over 2,000 so they scheduled me for an ultra sound. While waiting to hear the results was tough, it made me feel better to have them done. My 16 day draw was on a Thursday so I chose to wait until Monday for the next draw.
