This picture definitely makes me think holding off on the bath isn't that bad. Don't think I could go a week but 24 to 48 hours, doable.

Right after she was born. They had to check her airway, so she was laying on the table and they rubbed her with a towel.

First bath by nurses:

I though they automatically washed them down. IDK. My first went right to the NICU before I even saw him so I have no idea what they did. I think he was clean when they brought him to me a few hours later.

When DD was born they let me hold her for about an hour, and then they gave her a bath. Well, they just sponged her down and scrubbed her hair a bit. She had a LOT of hair, lol.
