Do any of you find that you get super winded just standing and talking? I'm assigning my students a project today and by the time I get to the end of my explanation I feel like I just ran a mile! Ick! Does this count as exercise at least? :P
Raises hand! I teach, too, and standing/walking/general movement is just taking it out of me. By the end of the day I can barely move. I am hoping the movement will get things going in there. I think it counts as exercise...
Lol. I'm a nurse in the ER and towards the end of me working I seemed to panting to patients at times. It was embarrassing. I swear, one time I felt as though I was going to faint, but I had to discharge this patient first and she kept asking questions, I wanted to scream " get out! so I can lay down!" lol, obviously I did nothing of the sort.
Yes! I said I really hope this baby comes TONIGHT (he won't) because I just can't go back to a classroom of first graders again tomorrow. I can barely breathe or walk and I'm so tired. I made copies today and spent the wait time leaned over the machine with my butt sticking out and a belly hanging down.
Re: Anyone who stands and talks a lot at work...
Yes! I cannot stand and talk for an extended period of time. It also happens singing at church.
I work in healthcare and am on my feet all day. I start getting light headed after a couple hours and have to sit down for a few....No fun!
This.
