Podee bottles

Has anyone used or tried podee bottles with their twins?  I have a very hard time tandem bottle feeding my twins because my DD spits up a lot and requires both hands while feeding and DS is easy, but gets frustrated when I have to take the bottle away for a minute to tend to his sister.  I only tandem feed them at night (DD needs to eat every 2-2.5 hrs during the day due to small size while DS eats every 3) but I am thinking this could be useful for DS.  Thoughts?

Re: Podee bottles

  • I have been using these with DS for probably 3 months now...so from the time he was about 3 months old.  I can't use them with DD because she is a dainty drinker normally.  These are awesome!  I don't use them for night feedings unless I'm alone because I still want to have that contact at night with feeding.  I only use these during the day and he seems to prefer it that way anyway.

Just make sure that your son has a strong suck motion.  It's not going to take *a lot* but it's going to take more than a dainty drinker like my daughter.  lol

These are also awesome for feeding while out.  DD has a prop pillow for her bottle and DS has these bottles.  I can go out with them and not worry about feeding time.  Only downside is not having warm food but they get over that if they realize we're not at home.

  • I used them when I first started propping bottles.  I thought they worked well, I just thought they were a pain to clean so once I could use a regular bottle propped up with a blanket I did that.
