When you Go OOT what do you do with your animals?
We are lucky to have a family friend agree to stay at our house and watch our dog! Is it etiquette to have meals made for this house guest? Or leave money for delivery?
So far all we got for him was a case of beer!

We leave our dog with ILs.
If someone were staying at my house, I think I would leave a couple of freezer meals (or just frozen pizza or store-bought frozen lasagna or something like that), and tell them they were for him, if he wanted them. Just make sure it's something you like, in case he decides not to use them. And definitely beer.
We've had MIL stay a few nights to take care of our pets before. I made sure the pantry/fridge was stocked with staples and snacks and then left her some money if she wanted to eat out.
Oh and make sure you have toilet paper! lol we left and I had forgotten to replenish our supply, poor mil had to go buy her own.
My ILs always take our dog but one week a summer we go on vacation with them so the past 3 years my little brother has stayed at our house. It's a full week and he's 19. I ask him for a grocery list, stock the house with his cereal, snacks, and pizza, and then leave him $100 to thank him and cover for extra food.
For 2 nights I'd make sure there were good snacks, some pizza in the freezer, and leave some cash.
Ohh I am so happy I asked!! Looks like I need to go grab a few things!
Thank you so much!
I would have had a hungry house guest!
