One of my friends who had twins had suggested getting a post-pregnancy belt/girdle for after the C-section. Did any of you use one? Would you recommend it?
I had my doctor write me a script for a belly binder in the hospital. My nurse was able to give it to me there. I used it for the first week or so and it really helped with my pain and mobility.

I used the hospital binder for the first week. Then it was too huge and I used a belly bandit for the next 4-5 weeks. Worked great and loved it. Made c-section recovery much easier and my belly was looking much better at 6 weeks PP.
I used the belly bandit with my DD. It really helped. I had a vaginal delivery, but I know c-section moms who say they really wished they had ordered one. I plan on getting the belly bandit again, but the bamboo one, which is suppose to be softer on the incision. I don't know for sure if I will have a c-section, but I want to be prepared either way.
I am currently using the belly bandit as well (the BFF to be exact). It could be a little longer since my twin belly went up to my ribs but I like that it is more adjustable than what the regular belly bandit appears to be.
Only downside for me is that my shape makes the elastic crease easily and I doubt it will 'uncrease' after washing but maybe it will.
