Trouble with boy name at 38 weeks

I've been mostly a lurker here, but hope to participate more in the future now that I'm not working.

We are having a hard time deciding on a name for our boy who could easily come any day now, so I'm starting to get stressed out! We ideally wanted a name that wasn't too common, but not too strange and not used in our immediate families.

Down to these as top four:

Logan - love the name, but my good friend that lives far away and don't see often has a 6 year old named this so it feels wierd to use it. When I talked to her last I didn't even mention that it was on our short list and she offered up that it wouldn't bother her in the least if we wanted Logan as the name so I know it won't affend her.

Levi - seems to be more and more common and a newborn in DH's nephew's in law already named this (so not immediate family, but distant family)

Bode or Bodie - Short for Boden and if you're a alpine racing fan you'll know who Bode Miller is (not that we're naming him after him...it's just where we learned of the name)

Felix- lower on both of our lists, not sure about the 'x' ending

Our last name ends in "ley" if that helps. Any opinions would be great since we've been keeping our list a secret from the family so I'd love some feedback.

I would go with either Levi or Felix.

Levi is at the top of my list. If you love Logan, I would use it. I have had friends suggest their own kids names to me in naming this LO. I think most people really don't care if you use their names as long as they are not pregnant at the time!

I really like both Levi and Logan! If I had to pick probably Levi by an inch.

I think Logan is very "normal" and uncommon....you are right that Levi is more popular right now, but it's still not in the top 10. That's anoher great name.

I think Bode is a a little more "strange" which you said you are hoping to avoid.

I actually really like Bodie. I also like Brodie. Logan and Felix are okay. Levi is getting a little too common for me but we just had a nephew named this so that may be why I feel this way.

These are four pretty different styles. I'm wondering if there is a 5th name out there that would tie these together that would be perfect for you. In particular you say Felix is low on your list but what do you like about it?

Those names are all great, apart from Bode. If you really want to go with that, name him Boden. If the friend doesn't mind, I'd go with Logan is that is the name you prefer.

Love Logan and Levi. I had a Bodhi in my classroom once. When I see Felix, I think of the cartoon character Felix the cat.

I would choose Levi out of these choices. If you are too worried about your family/friends with the same names, then I'd say to go with Felix. I don't know why the X ending is a problem.

I do not like Bode at all.

I really like Bode Boden because it IS uncommon. I also find it to be a masculine name, just doesn't fit a girl. If you're looking for something more regular or traditional, consider Beau. The "d" in Bode is soft so it will sound nearly the same when most people pronounce it! ;
