If I'd gotten it in 2012 it would have been 20% after meeting my deductible (which I had thanks to the baby) - so about $187. I opted to wait until after January 1 to get it, and the device and insertion were covered 100% under my plan thanks to the ACA.
BCBS 100% in Aug since the plan started in July and they decided to start covering BC at 100% at the start of the plan year rather than waiting until Jan 1.

Mine paid for the minipill but not my IUD. Guess they would have been cool with another 40k dollar pregnancy.
It was 1000 dollars out of pocket which was still the cheapest option given how long it lasts and it's effectiveness
