Is your SO drinking for Superbowl?

My DH asked if me if I minded if he had a few beers today for the game. He's concerned that if I go into labor, he wouldn't be able to drive me to the hospital. While I appreciate his concern and understand why he would ask, I really haven't had any signs of labor coming on naturally anytime soon (not at all dilated, no loss of MP, no bloody show, etc) so I don't see why I should stop him from enjoying today with a few drinks. I mean, this is the first Superbowl of my adult life that I won't be drinking myself. It's kind of apart of the whole game day tradition, right? What do you ladies think? What are your SOs planning to do?

    We don't watch the Superbowl (not into sports) but if we did I'd be fine with DH having a few. At absolute worst you call an ambulance to get you to the hospital but the likelihood is so small I wouldn't worry about it.

    My husband will probably have a few, however I like you, have shown no signs of labor and my due date isnt until the 21st. If something would happen I figure there will be plenty of family at our party to drive me :)

    We're going to a Superbowl party and my husband is definitely allowed to have a few beers.  He just can't get drunk.  I figure that even if I were to go into labor, he'd have a few hours to stop drinking and switch to water before we would need to head to the hospital.  He won't have so much that he wouldn't be able to metabolize it in three or four hours.

    And just to clarify, I'm due tomorrow, have already lost my mucus plug, and have already had my bloody show, and I still feel like it would take several hours from the onset of labor until the time we need to head in, so no worries about him having three or four beers, as long as I'm not having painful or regular contractions and my water hasn't broken.

    My husband isnt drinking but he has been sober the whole 9 months with me out of solidarity. For Valentine's Day I got him some crown to reward his efforts!

    My DH has been trying to talk me into letting him drink more today due to the superbowl,  yeah not happening.

    I'm sure H will have a beer or two, but he will probably space them out. He's not a huge drinker anyways and we're just going to my parents for a while then back home.

    My husband doesn't drink but I don't think it's a problem.

    My FI is working so I'm going to ILs house and my fil will have a couple drinks but not get wasted. One good thing if I do go into labor my FI is already at the hospital becaus he works there.

    since it's still somewhat early and I've shown zero signs of labor I told him to go ahead and have a few. plus he helped me with chores so he's on my good side right now. that and he's making me pulled pork sliders for the game ;)

    We don't do superbowl personally so I can't help with what DH would do since hes not into sports at all but I just wanted to give your DH a HUGE thumbs up and applause for asking.

    Poor DH got a nice six pack of craft beer and the guy at the store bagged it wrong and it broke all over the parking lot :(  But he wont be drinking for the game because he works tonight.  Poor guy is so tired on his days off that he usually pops a beer and then falls asleep a few sips in.  I don't see an issue with having a few drinks.

    DH doesn't drink so it's not even an issue. I know it might be hard to pry him from the tv though if need be...he loves his football.

    We don't watch superbowl, but if we did DH might have a beer. He's the kind of person that likes to be in control all the time. He HATES feeling helpless or unobservant in any way so I have rarely seen him drunk or even tipsy. I'm the one that gets sauced when I'm not supposed to and I haven't had drop one since I had that positive HPT.
