Questionable Parenting...

Yesterday evening I nursed my baby in a bar. I kinda felt like a superhero bc I dont NIP often, but i also felt kinda like a bad mom -especially after getting the evil eye from some cougar in hot pink leggings. In my defense, DH and I were there for a late dinner and I wasn't drinking (except for a few sips of his beer before I started feeding LO). Also, I may have mindlessly reached for his glass while LO was attached under the blanket... But caught myself before taking a drink bc that probably would have been frowned upon ;)

    IMO no big deal. I nursed my first while drinking a margarita at a Mexican resturant when she was 8 weeks old, but I've always been klassy like that.

    That cougar was probably just pissed because you've got awesome nursing boobies and a reason to show them off and she doesn't! Wink

    Um......cougar in pink leggings? WTH? Nurse your baby all you want too.....she's just jealous she doesn't have the boobies for it anymore.... LOL!!!

    I think pink leggings are more inappropriate than a baby in a bar.  But the owner of our favorite pub went and bought a high chair for S, so...... yeah.  (In my defense, it's a restaurant that happens to also be a bar.  They have really good burgers.  And Guinness on tap.  Dark beer is good for milk production.  Therefore, MOTY.)

    And you go!  NIP with no shame.  You don't put a blanket over your head while eating, why should your baby?
