I am trying to keep my mind off the fact that I may lose this baby so I am trying to prepare myself for if the tear heals and we do make it. Share your experiences with placenta previa. At 13w1d mine is complete. What should I expect, I've seen posts about preemies and bed rest and want to be prepared for what may happen. Thanks ladies.
Re: Share your experiences...
I'm sorry you're going through this! I had a complete previa, but I didn't find out until 28 weeks when I started bleeding. In my charts, it was noted during my 20 week ultrasound, but the doctor never told me. It took two trips to the ER with bleeding before someone pulled my chart and seen that I had a previa! It was complete BS. After that I was shipped to a larger, better hospital and stayed for 4 days. I then got to go home and made it to 34 1/2 weeks before I started bleeding again. I was admitted back to the hospital and had a c-section at 36 weeks. DD was in the NICU for 12 days, but she's perfectly fine now.
You're still really early. Just try not to stress, even though I know that's impossible. Good luck!
Eli 6.18.09 35.5w
Silas 1.25.13 35.4w 10 days NICU, allergies/asthma, gluten intolerant
*hugs* Sorry you're having to go through that fear. Lots of T&P.
I have a marginal PP. It only ended up moving 1.8cm from the cervix. Not enough for me to technically be able to have a VBAC at my hospital. BUT my LO came before my RCS, and I ended up having a drug free VBAC.
But, as others said, you are so early. There is still plenty of time for it to move. Again lots of T&P.
