Ticker Change Explanation

I have noticed some confusion about the whole ticker change post thing since we started it on our board so I wanted to try to offer a clear explanation... and more seasoned Bumpies, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. For those who haven't understood, I am not saying this to be condescending or snarky, just to explain the purpose/process.

The ticker change post each week is a check-in for those whose ticker changes to the next full week in your pregnancy. For example, every week on Sunday is my change day. So today I changed from 4 weeks 6 days (yesterday) to 5 weeks even. My fruit changed from a poppyseed to an appleseed. Next Sunday I will change from 5 weeks 6 days to 6 weeks and my fruit will change again. Your ticker change day may be on a Tuesday (e.g. on Monday you are 3 weeks 6 days and Tuesday you are 4 weeks even) so you would post a response each week to the Tuesday Ticker Change post. As we gather more Bumpies along the way further into this month, we will eventually have ladies in each ticker change post who are at different weeks (e.g. Sunday change will have gals who are 5w, 6w, and 7w along, but all their tickers change on Sunday).

I hope that makes sense! I'm totally type A so this may have been too detailed and for that, I apologize. ;-) And again, corrections are welcome.

We only ever did them once a week. So if on that tuesday or what ever you were 5w 3ds that's what you put. If you were 6 w even then great. Just my thought.

I've been straddling the Sept and Oct boards since my due date is 9/30. I know over on Sept '13, they are (or were) putting: "This is only for those who's tickers change today!" at the top of the ticker change post.
