Total AW POST right here, FYI.
I'm so thankful to have two days in a row with just DH and our three beautiful girls. He works retail, and is not consistently home. He's been home 24/7 Friday and today. I was anticipating the routine being a bit off, and it is but only by a few hours and the girls are having fun. So great! I was also anticipating him not knowing what I need from him in the way of help, so I prepared to be specific and direct when asking for help. Those are his words. It's an issue we've been having for 10 yrs. lol. Turns out he can't read my mind. Anyway, at 5:00 we started feeding. At 5:45 I started feeding baby number 3. I said, "DH, can you take over for me when this baby takes a burp break? I need to pump ASAP" he says, "sure. No problem". Then he switches laundry "real quick", puts car seats in the car "real quick", puts away said laundry "real quick", goes to the bathroom "real quick" and takes out the dogs "real quick". While I'm thankful for the chores, I've since finished baby 3 and my boobs are KILLING ME! I decided that if I bring it up to him the helpful chores would stop, so I just had to vent to you ladies. Being a MoM is NOT EASY! I remember when I was TTC what my idea of being a SaHM would be like. It's about 180 from what I do now. Lol. Thanks for reading! I feel better!

Re: One of those days
Why don't they get it? When you say "I need to pump now" it actually means now!? My DH was making dumb comments about how sometimes "pumping is my number 1 priority". I told him maybe we could put balls in a vice grip for comparison.
Oh and PP, the thing about the banana had me laughing out loud, tottally something my DH would say!
