  • DD was immobile until 10.5 months, all she did was roll over and sit when put that way. The pedi wasn't at all concerned at her 9 month.

  • At 10 months, if I sat my kid somewhere and left the room for 20 minutes (no, I never left him that long), he would be in the exact same position when I returned. A week later, he started moving, and now at almost 11 months, he won't sit still. Totally normal.

  • Blake will be 10m tomorrow, and he doesn't really roll.  I know he can because he has before, but he's really not interested.  He's not crawling either.  When he's on his butt, he does this lil scoot, and will move a foot or so, but that's it.  On his belly, he just started to lift his butt up and scoot back a little.  Im not really concerned yet.  He will stand, and is starting to take steps with me holding his hands, but isn't pulling himself up on things yet.  He will if I hold my thumbs out.  All babies develop at different rate, and I know it's hard not to compare.  My pedi wasn't concerned at all at our 9m appt.
