Turns out my weekend of bleeding with cramps and clots was NOT a miscarriage. Wow! I went to the Dr. to comfirm the pregnancy loss only to see a healthy baby with a heartbeat. I am still in shock. I have a subchrionic hemorrhage. It's small in size so it's not harmful to the baby. I'm now am considered high risk (that and the fact I had preeclampsia last pregnancy). I've also been told I can't exercise of HAVE SEX until the 2nd trimester ultrasound. Ugh. It won't be easy, but it's worth it to keep this baby healthy. We're praying hard this little baby. I guess you should ALWAYS see your doctor if you think you are having a miscarriage. Things aren't what they always seem. Don't just let it "run it's course." Feeling blessed.

I had the same thing. Started bleeding bright red and it continued for 3 days. I was sure I was miscarrying for the 3rd time, which my OB just went with rather than checking me out.
Left it for a week after the bleeding stopped and then decided to test again. Still 2 bold pink lines so rang and told the OB and they got me in for looks and a scan. HCG levels of 56000, a viable healthy foetus with a great heart rate and a large SCH.
I was a it concerned, but so happy to have seen my baby and now at nearly 13 weeks the SCH has resolved and all is well.
I hope you go on to have a healthy and happy 9 months with no more scares. One is more than enough for any pregnancy!!
