Yeah.. that's what I thought. I do love the honesty of this board. Much more straight forward of answers than you'd get from a friend or family member lol.
I'm a sucker for Nat names. But I won't do that to them lol. They'll only be 2.5 yrs apart.. so they'll go to school together and everything.

Have you considered Jonathan? It contains nat.
Oh, I never thought of Jonathan. Ill see what DH thinks.
I knew a brother and sister with these names. I also know a Danielle and Daniel. I always thought it was pretty matchy but I guess it worked. Nathan is NMS but it's a fine name.
lol, totally cute. I don't mind matchy as long as it's not the same name with a different first letter ... ya know, like Hailey and Bailey. I'm not a super fan of the name Nathan, though. But the 2 "n" names are rather cute, IMO.
Re: Nathan and Natalie sibset
This. I do love the name Nathan tho!

Way too matchy for me. I would want the kids to have their own identities and that would be very hard if they end up being Nat and Nate.
I do love the name Nathan! Nathan/Nathaniel was a consideration for us if we were having a boy.
This
they don't sound matchy (long a and /th/ vs short a and /T/) but they do look matchy in writing
If you are thinking of having another down the road it might be hard too
My thoughts exactly.

Too matchy.
What happens if you have more kids??? They get named George or something? HA
I knew a family that the dad was Chris, the son was Christopher and the daughter was Christina. Major ego trip eyeroll!
I like Nathan, but I think Natalie is the feminine of that name. I know a Stephen and Stephanie, and everybody side-eyes them.
What about Neil? close, but not so matchy.
After this baby comes, my DH said he's getting "the snip". So there wouldn't be a Nathan, Natalie and George lol.
But yeah.. I was kind of thinking the names were too matchy and this thread confirmes it. Names are so hard.
