I went to order the nursery furniture the other day at BRU, and of course, they tell me that particular line is transitioning into something new so I would have to pay an obsene amount of money in shipping in order to get the dresser. Great. Sooo, I am now looking for new options.
Has anyone had experience with the Graco Sarah crib? Did you like it? And if so, what dresser did you get to go with it?
Any other input on furniture is appreciated! We are going with white and I don't want to spend more than $1000 on a crib and dresser (although lower is always better)
TIA!
Re: input on furniture please
I have a Graco convertible crib-sorry I am not sure which one, and it has been great. DD will use it for 2 years and once DS is born, he will be using it.
It looks great after almost two years of use and I am confident that it will make it through #2 and I will probably use it as a toddler/full bad when the time comes. I did buy the dresser and changing table, I love the changing table but the dresser is not so great. The dresser will make it through soring #2's clothing but it won't make it once he is opening and closing it himself.
JCPenney has good sales going on right now. I found this one... https://www.jcpenney.com/dotcom//rockland-hartford-3-pc-baby-furniture-set---white/prod.jump?ppId=1d0011e&catId=cat100260091&subcatId=cat100240019&deptId=dept20000011&dimCombo=null&dimComboVal=null&cmJCP_C=labeled&cmJCP_T=XGN3
It is $675 including delivery for the crib, chest and dresser/changing combo.
We bought all of our nursery furniture at the Land of Nod and could not be happier with it. This will be baby #3 using all the original stuff and it looks brand new. They are currently running a free furniture delivery over $1000 and they bring it right into your home. They even put everything together that did not already come assembled.
I was so happy with everything that we ended up getting the boys big boy room furniture from there as well.
I also just bought a set a jcp. I opened a charge account and got an additional 20% off. I like the fact that it is an actual dresser and not just a changing table.
I got this set for $740 including tax, free shipping.
