Today my LO bit my neck and drew blood. He is constantly going in for my neck, sucking and biting it when he gets hungry or tired. His biting is getting out of control in general. He pretty much bites me everywhere actually. I think he's just really excited about his new teeth....he loves to bite crunchy things into smaller bits and chomp on my sweatpants. His teeth are sharper than all get out. I don't know how to stop this behavior other than what we've been doing, a stern "no" and "ouch." He's got teething toys out the wahzoo but doesn't seem as interested in them as he used to be. Does anyone else have a little biter, and please tell me this is just a phase because it really freakin hurts.

    My kid doesn't bite quite that much, but he's a biter. I also say "No" very sternly and remove him from the situation. If he's biting me while I'm holding him, then I'll set him down. He'll usually cry about it, so I distract him with a toy. When he would bite while nursing, I would cover up that side, tell him no, and move him away from that side. I know that at this point, the only thing I can do is re-direct, but man, it can get frustrating.

    Our DS bites all the time it is getting very old, it hurts so much and I think he is doing it because his gums hurt but I can't help ripping him off bc of the pain.  Our pedi said remove him from you and sit him down even if for 10 seconds.

    One of my baby girls just bit the crap out of me!  I was rocking her before a nap and before I knew it, I was lunch!  She then proceeded to continue to try to bite me over and over.  I wasn't sure what to do with this either.  I tried the stern "no" but that doesn't really do much in my house at this point.  I'm interested to hear what others are doing as well.
