How long before having your next baby?

I know it's too early to start thinking about the next baby, but I was wondering how long you mamas plan on waiting before having your next LO. I'm a FTM and definitely hope to have another. I'm thinking 1-2 yrs apart is good. I had DD 8 weeks early unexpectedly, so my chances of having another preemie is increased. I want to go full term for the next LO. I'm also older at 35, so I might not be able to wait too long before baby #2. I want to be healthy physically to carry the next one. I wonder if it will take a long time to conceive the next one. It was relatively fast to get pregnant with baby #1; only 2 months.

Are you done having kids? If not. how long do you plan on waiting before trying to conceive again.

    b/c I had a c-sec my Dr told me 24 months in recommended if I want to have a VBAC but 18 mo if I want to have another c-sec.  Id like to start trying again May 2014 which will be 18 months from LO's bday

    I had to have a c-section due to a complete previa. Even though I'm a bit apprehensive about having another baby and going through all that again, I definitely want to have another one. I feel like we'll starting trying again when DD is around 2 or 3.

    I'm done having kids but wanted to throw in my 2 cents.  My daughters are exactly 2 years apart and (4 and 2) and my son is 2 years 3 months younger than my 2 year old.  It is hectic at first but so worth it in my opinion to have our kids close together.  My daughters play together and are interested in the same things, but far enough apart that I only have 1 in diapers/bottle at a time.  We were lucky that my mom watched the kids so we didn't have an expense for care until preschool, and being 2 years apart I only  pay for one in preschool at a time.

    I also had a c section and have to wait a year to be ttc. We want a spring summer baby since I'm a teacher so we will be ttc July 2014 it's decided! Haha I can't wait for CJ to have a sibling.

    We would like to try again when DS is about 2 I think. I'm 26 and DH is 31 so we're not in a HUGE hurry. But I do want to have my children fairly young. We want 3 or 4 kids. =)

    This. DH only wants 2 but I really want 1 more, just don't feel our family is complete yet. Ideally I'd like to start TTC when DD#2 is around 2 but it'll depend on my job situation after I finish school (and convincing DH, of course).

    We have our two. Stick a fork in me, I'm done.

     

    (They are almost 18 months apart, and my November 2012 baby was a VBAC)

    We are going to wait until L is one and then talk about it.  We both always wanted 3 kids, but right now I can't imagine having more than one...it's a lot of work!  I'm slowly convincing myself that I can eventually handle another baby.  We'll see how I'm feeling in a year :)

    This almost exactly.....but instead of July 2014 it will be this July we start trying. We both will turn 40 in Juky/Oct so we need to get moving.

    Lax---completely get the teacher thing! If I give birth in May (or April if I have another preemie) I have the whole summer off and baby would be 4 months when I went back---no different than now when I go back after FMLA.
