Spill it, girls!

1. I'm counting the hours until naptime. At which point if my children do not cooperate, I may slip them 12 doses of Benadryl each.

2. I'm trying to find a good reason not to have a glass of wine at 9:30 in the morning. If I have one glass, I'll fall asleep, but if I have two glasses, I'll be fun mom. And if I have three, then I'm a bad parent..........

I have one! I thought of it last night. As I was putting a blanket on P in his rock n play.

Apparently that's a no-no. But he's cold, he doesn't like being swaddled anymore, and those sleep sacks don't keep his hands warm. He likes a blanket.

Flame Free (or Flame Full) Friday Confession.

Basically you say something you do or did that's a confession. If it's stupid, you're not supposed to get flamed.

But if you give your DH a blow job while breastfeeding your newborn, or something else totally weird, you're going to get ripped apart.

Had a long night, barely slept. My FFFC: I was 6 min. late to work today b/c i stopped and stocked up on energy drinks. In a round about way I feel like I can use K as an excuse. After all, he is the reason I'm exhausted.

My FFFC: I was about 35min late to work becase I spelt in and took my damn time leaving. I too use R as an excuse...although, he really is my excuse half the time.

My FFFC:

I knew I was cutting it close painting my nails during B's nap this morning. He woke up and started crying but they were still wet so I just danced around trying to entertain him while they dried.

I miss painting my nails since I've had LO! She loves it when I dance in front of her so maybe next time I try and she wakes up I'll be dropping it low! LOL Good for my nails and my a$$!

I wasn't ready to get up for the day once B finished his morning feeding, so I flipped on the space heater, wrapped us both up in a quilt, and we took a little nap together in the rocker/glider.

Since day one i have had a nest of blankets in the rock n play.. and then i drape one over the end by her feet to act as a barrier of cold..... my thought is she has these blankets she is laying on that are insulating her and the one across the end doe the same

I went back to work on Wednesday. I cried 3 times before 6:45 Wednesday & yesterday. Once I starting working, it was better but I still teared up a few times. I'm a L&D nurse so it's even harder because I see babies all day & it makes me think of LO. Then I tear up because he's not the little any more. It's a vicious cycle.

I keep trying to convince DH to let me go part time. He keeps saying no.

Since going back to work, DH has been getting up for the 4am feeding because he gets to sleep later & I have to be up at 5 to get to work on time. Before going back to work, I got up for all the feedings since DH was working.

He hates getting up for that feeding & I'm secretly hoping that LO doesn't stop those feedings for a little while so maybe it will help convince DH that I should go part time because I'd be getting up for the feedings more.

We have BIL's birthday party in 2 weeks. My mom and dad aren't sure if they can watch Hallie. MIL and FIL are going to the party. I don't want anyone else...including my sister/BIL, great grandparents, and DH's aunts...to watch her. I'd rather stay home because I think it's going to suck anyways.

I returned to work this week, and upon my return I was happy to see that I was ordered a new weekly planner for the year (yay! They remembered!!) Then when I opened it to fill in employees Bdays (because I am in charge of BDay cards) I see that they have all been filled in. Now to a normal person this would be great because that means the clericals are being nice and helping me out, but I am a control freak when it comes to my calendar, and they wrote them in Green. I color code everything and anything written in green stands for anything having to do with money. They also wrote them on the wrong side of the day. This is seriously going to bug the SHIZ out of me for an ENTIRE year, but I won't change anything because I don't want the clericals to think I don't appreciate them. So now I have to change my entire color system in my calendar. I. hate. it.

And yes, I know I am crazy.....

I had to google this. I'm so out of the loop when it comes to current events these days. Apparently, I shouldn't spend so much time on the bump...OR we need to start having Current Events Monday.

Another confession, I hardly ever know what's going on in the world. I only know about this trial because I'm obsessed with true crime shows and I saw a Dateline. Essentially, the trial is about a crazy chica and dirty, dirty sex. But other than that? No idea what's on the news, other than people have REALLY strong feelings about guns.

Also, I used to think Somalia was in the Caribbean. Because of the pirates.

also...I started back to work this week and MIL is keeping DS. I secretly hope that he's horrible for her so DH will let me work part time or quit all together for a few more months because I HATE my job!

theres a buckle in the rock n play?? Guess I never noticed bc of the blanket laying on top of it.

Trying to think of an Fffc that hasn't been done already...

Since LO, I've forgotten to shut the lid on the washer after "starting" a load, so they sit in there wet til I come find them. I've also put the clothes in the dryer and forgot to turn the dryer on and come to those clothes still wet.

Anyway, apparently it's not the only way I can mess up laundry. I've twice gone in there to find a washed and dried baby wipe... after a poopsplosion. This morning while putting the clothes in the dryer I found that I had washed a panty liner. O.o

Not bad enough for you?

Both times it happened I thought about how much money I could save by washing and drying wipes and panty liners.
