I have very irregular periods.Yesterday I went into my ultrasound thinking I was nine weeks and came out realizing that I'm only 7 weeks. But I tested positive on January 5th which means I was only three weeks four days when I found out. I didn't know you could detect that early!

I was getting very faint positives on the 5th and I'm 7w3d.

I got a clear positive on Jan 2nd and I am 7wk 6 days, I would have been 3wks 5 days at that point and I didn't test before that day so I don't know if I would have gotten a positive sooner. I think a lot of women are probably going to find they aren't as far along as they thought at the first u/s because many women don't ovulate on the "textbook" CD 14

I'm anxious for my US to find out! Same thing happened to me with DS#1, though.

I found out on 3w4d. The pink line test was really faint, so I took a digital that even came out positive!

I was 3w5d, and i bet if i'd tested the day before w/fmu (didn't test at all), it would have been positive. It would mean you'd have ovulated early(ish) in your cycle and fertilization/implantation happened quickly, as well, but it's possible.
