We didn't do a community thread yesterday, and it's PIP day today - so why not double up?
WELCOME to all our new posters (and lurkers). Congrats to all those who recently got their BFPs, and congrats to all the new and expectant parents out there!
I don't have a good QOTD today: so maybe someone will throw one out?
As for your PIP's -- maybe post something that makes you happy?

Re: Belated Community Thread/PIP Thursday
This dog makes me happy. Her sleeping while I'm working (as she is now) makes me even happier.
Community Thread Update: Our update is that we made an appointment to meet with a reproductive/fertility counselor with a lot of LGBTQ experience. We meet with her on Monday (we're lucky that my benefits will cover it) for our first appointment. We hope that she will help us work through the decisions we need to make as well as provide some support through this frustrating and exhausting process. Manada might want to add more since it was her idea.
Suggested QOTD: If you were given $1000 to spend on anything that you wanted except for the following rules, what would you buy? The rules: 1) it has to be something(s) for you and/or your partner and/or your kids, 2) it cannot be used for paying bills/debts, 3) it cannot be saved, 4) it cannot be applied to fertility treatments, 5) it can't be used for "essentials" like groceries or everyday clothes.
QOTD answer: I would buy us a new recliner (for about $400-500), a wireless printer (for about $120), a small chest freezer (for about $250), and party dresses for M and me for our city hall legal marriage after our love party (for about $150-200).
We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.
Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.
Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response
IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255
1st ultrasound (3/6 6w 1d): TWINS!!!! Twin A measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 118bpm. Twin B measuring 6w0d with a heartbeat of 113bpm.
***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***
FET #1 December 2014

Things here are good- till tomorrow the girls go in for 18 mo check up and they just got settled ( no colds) and teething is at a stand still or not interfering with daily life as of yet.
I love our WACKY family !

This is my first PIP. I went down to the wharf (2 min walk from office) and watched the harbor seals bobbing in the water. This always makes me feel better when I'm down, looking at the seals and laughing at their cute faces!
If I had $1,000 I would spend it on a tww getaway somewhere closeby on the California coast with my love, probably Big Sur where we could go to the beach and eat wonderful food every day and just focus on our love.
TTC with RE since March 2012

Your photo makes ME happy! I used to live in Victoria, BC and the harbour seals down there were always so awesome and adorable... There were a ton of them living there about 15 years ago, I'm not sure if they're there anymore....

A friend of mine just sent me this.... in an email titled "VERY important 4:15 stuff". It made me laugh so I thought I'd share today....
QOTD: If I had $1000 I would:
1. Spend $150 on a wireless printer for H.
2. Buy us a TV for our bedroom so I can watch Netflix from bed.
3. Buy a chaise/sofa combo for our tiny living room so I can stretch out.
4. Get bookshelves custom built for our space.

Harbor seals are so adorable... Always make me smile and laugh out loud.
I just got "the call" from RE. It took them two days to get back to me with blood work. Of course, I fantasized, as you did, that the BFN could be wrong! Not so.
I'm looking at a new clinic near home that does IVF. But it has a "boutique" kind of "spa" feel to it, and I think it is for the 1%. (I am the 99% that lives near the 1%) and I don't know if they take insurance. It is like a destination IVF place, kind of like how people go on vacations to get plastic surgery? Not sure if it is for me, but I have to check it out as it is one mile from my (teeny tiny) house.

This is also my first time posting for PIP. Here is a picture of our tree on top of our neighbor's garage and subsequently her car that was parked outside of it- destroyed and totaled respectively. Two nights ago we didn't have a tornado come through but a really bad storm with straight line winds". Could have gone without this hiccup. One of other trees was hit by lightning and partially fell along with another that partially fell. What a day yesterday....It's looking like our listing might be put off for a bit.
Good Evening! Good Question this week with some good exceptions because I certainly went to each of those forbidden areas! If I was given $1000 I would take C and I on a vacation. We rarely have the opportunity to get away (with the exception of visiting family).
During my TWW I have been thinking of all the things I am not allowing myself to have, even if they aren't off limits yet so my PIP is sushi! YUM! Totally my favorite! I don't know how to upload pictures to this site yet, so just imagine sushi in your heads...yum!
Queer coupled and having a BABY with the love of my life! Love my life and wouldn't have it any other way!

What makes me happy is our kitty cat, Emma Rose. I've had her since she was 6 months old and she is turning 11 years old this year! She's a spunky and outrageously awesome cat! She is more like a dog...so we call her a cog. She comes when she is called, does tricks and all the good stuff!
If I had $1000, I would take a trip with my wife. The one thing we've never done is fly together! I want to go to Hawaii!
This just brought tears to my eyes (stupid pregnancy hormones) because it reminds me so much of my child and home. I think if this makes me teary I have to find a way to get home for a visit before these babies arrive.
