sick, not eating, when to call Dr?

DD has been sick since Jan 9... She went to Dr Jan 9 for 9 mo appt and they said she needs to eat more, come back in 2 weeks for weight check. Well, we went back 2 days later because she was sick with cold and fever = double ear infection = Amoxicillin. Went back 2 days after that because of wheezing = nebulizer. After the 10 days of Amoxicillin she seemed to be better, until this week. She's been eating about 10 oz of formula (was doing 27oz!), and about 2 table spoons of oatmeal total, and 2 oz water for the last three days. Her diaper over night seemed like it only had one pee, she had vomited at some point last night and slept in it (scary!), no vomit today, but she's eaten very little, too (3 oz formula today, 2 water, 2T oatmeal)... no fever. See how the next 24 hours go? Or call?

  • I would call to be on the safe side. Better to feel dumb about over-reacting than horrible about under-reacting.
