Hi everyone! I recently purchased a wrap in hopes of wearing my 7 month old, I found out not long ago that I'm expecting again and was wondering if it's difficult to baby wear while pregnant. I think the wrap is a size 5 but definitely not smaller, maybe a 6 at most, if that matters. I would love to learn a few wraps that would make wearing my 7 month old easy with a growing belly.
I'm 39w + pregnant and I wore DD in my Toddler Tula (yes she's 17 months) for an hour long walk with the dog today I wear her in my woven in a ruck sometimes around the house or to take the dog for a quick potty break.
In a woven you can tie above your bump if you want. If you end up with a SSC (like the Ergo) you can wear under the bump.
It's really a personal decision, some people can only wear into the 20s week wise and others (like me) can do it to the bitter end.
Best thing to do is listen to your body and do what feels comfortable.
I wore throughout my pregnancy. I found back carries tying the wrap over my bump to be most comfortable - others prefer to tie under the bump. As long you don't have any complications it's fine to continue physical activities - including carrying and wearing you kiddo! Just listen to your body
I have managed to wear my almost 18 month old DS in the Beco Butterfly I got (also have a Moby). I could wear him on my front until I hit about 5-6 months with #2 and have been wearing him on my back since then. It has been a bit difficult to do though, unless someone is around to help me get him on.
You should be able to BW your LO for awhile in the wrap, especially if they are on the small side. Just move things around a bit when getting them into a front carry
