I've loved the name Camden ever since I visited New England several years ago. DH thought Camden sounded too feminine for a boy. It sounds too masculine for a girl though too, I think. The Kamdyn spelling seems sort of made up. For these reasons, I think maybe we should just pass on the name but I was curious as to what you ladies thought.
The only other name we both like is Lillian/Lily, but I hate that it's so popular.
I like Hannah and Hailey but we're not sure if we like it with our last name (which sounds a lot like "Holiday").
Any thoughts or suggestions on other names we might like? I'm 33 weeks pregnant (with a girl) and not having a name is driving me nuts. Thanks!
(It might be helpful to know that our 3yo DD's name is Alexis and we call her Lexi. Not sure if Lexi and Lily is a cute combo or too similar?).

I prefer Camden spelt this way for a boy. Kamdyn just looks wrong and not for either boy or girl.
Lillian is pretty. I don't care too much if a name is popular; if you love it go for it!
Hailey feels dated to me so I would go with Hannah between the two. But prefer Lillian overall
Kamdyn is really bad. I also really dislike Camden, but I don't like trendy names in general, and it seems like you do. I do think Camden is used for boys some too though. I think Lillian would be a good name with Alexis, although like you, I'm kind of over it due to popularity.
Some names that came to mind:
Molly, Ainsley, Brynn, Summer, Willa, Natalie
lol, I actually hate that I like trendy names. I like them but don't want anything in the top 10-ish names. We only went with Alexis with our first because we thought it was pretty and couldn't come up with anything else we liked.
I like Ainsley and Natalie both a lot. We can't use Natalie though because of a previous death related issue. I love Brynn but it's almost too short for my taste (same issue I had with Lily- which is why we are considering Lillian). Brynnleigh and all the other "lee" type versions are way to trendy/made up, I think. I can't think of any other ways to lengthen it to just use Brynn as a nick name.
I think the name Vanessa is pretty, but I know it's dated and it's my SIL's name...so it's out.

I like Camden for a girl or a boy. I do not like the spelling of Kamdyn. Not one bit. It doesn't bother me that people have bad associations with the name Camden because that can happen with any name. Yes, I understand that Camden, NJ, is a crime-ridden city but that doesn't bother me (maybe because I'm Canadian, never been there, don't care).
I really don't like Lillian or Lily. Lily is overused among people I know and Lillian sounds too old.
Hailey is dated.
I like Hannah.
I also like the PP's suggestion of Cameron.

Please throw out Camden (especially for a girl). Kamdyn is absolutely terrible.
I agree Lillian and Lily are way too popular.
Maybe Amelia (Mimi) or Abigail (Abby)?
I like Camden for a BOY. Not a girl. Kamdyn is horrible. I LOVE Lillian/Lily. Lexi and Lily are fine for sisters. I also like Hannah, but I'm over Hailey.
Other suggestions:
Juliet or Julia
Audrey
Cora
Please do not use Kamdyn!
I like Lily, and Lily/Lexie is cute.

Hmm...if you like Vanessa, what about Tessa or Veronica? I thought of Hadley for you too, but that may not go well with your ln.
Some other ideas:
Ashlyn, Caitlin, Layla, Emmeline, Juliana, Chloe, Cadence, Mila, Maisie, Piper, Tatum, Regan, Linnea, Annika, Tegan
If you really want to use a place name, please spell it correctly.
If you like Lillian/Lily, would you like Millicent/Millie? Or Camille/Millie? That gives you the optional NN of Cami too. I don't love Cami myself because it makes me think of camisoles, but it would give you the beginning sound of Camden.
Lexi & Lily are to matchy to me.
I don't like Camden. With both Nick & Vanessa Lachey and Jay Cutler & Kristin Cavallari naming their sons Camden, I'm thinking 'boy' though. The Kamdyn spelling is bad.
I love Lillian, Hailey I'm 'meh' on and Hannah is lovely. With your last name I like Lillian best. Lexi and Lily is matchy tough. What about Meghan or Tess(a)?
