We are going to the wedding. boo. I have to take 2 kids on a 3 hour plane ride. To go to a wedding and turn around two days later and take another 3 hour plane ride home. DH actually tried to convenience me to take a flight that had a layover, so we could get there 2 hours earlier. I said HELL no. Let's put aside the fact that his family has made no effort to meet our boys or get to know me. The traveling alone is enough to need a stiff drink. Plus its our 5 year wedding anniversary. Spending it with people who couldn't get off there asses to come to our wedding is not my idea of a nice anniversary. Nor is spending it in a hotel room with my kids. I love my kids, but I had other things in mind for our anniversary. End of vent. Thanks for reading.

may I ask if you HAVE to go? just curious...
Yes. DH really wants us all to go to meet his family. His family is really not what I call family. I think of some of his close friends as more of his family. Anyway, he does everything with my family because his family really doesn't make an effort. I feel like I have to support him on this.
