BAD Diaper Rash

Hey all,

Been CDing for almost 10 months - cotton prefolds and BumGenius pockets (microfiber.)  All has been well until this week.  Baby girl has bad red sores (some open) on her bottom.  We use CJ's every diaper change and have been trying to do no diaper time but nothing is working.  Suggestions???

    Yeast?  That's what I've always heard causes open sores.

    Is she teething?  DD gets bad rashes like that from teething.  Or from eating something acidic (tomatoes, pineapple or other citrus fruits).  I would just put her in sposies with heavy duty cream (Desitin, Balmex, etc.).  If you don't want to go that route, I use Aveeno with fleece liners with my CDs and haven't had problems.
