So I had a mostly good appointment today. My hcg is 25,155 and doubling well, my progesterone went down to 40 from 43 last week but from what I understand progesterone fluctuates and 40 is still good. I had my ultrasound and am measuring 6 weeks 1 day with a sack and small fetal pole. This is actually further than I expected.
So the thing is there was no heartbeat - the tech didn't mention it, I asked when she was finished if we should have seen one. She said oh no it's too early for that. She booked me for next week (I am with an RE so have weekly appointments) and said we'll see a heartbeat then.
So of course I'm googling which is never good. I just feel like everyone I've seen on the Bump have had a heartbeat by now. Those of you with a heartbeat was it just up there plain to see, or did they have to look for it? I've seen a few people mention it took a while to find and this ultrasound was probably only 3 minutes or so while she took measurements.
Just looking to see if it was obvious or if your tech actually "tried" to find it.
Re: Question for those with heartbeat
I agree. My first is next week at 6 weeks 2 days and while I know that it could still be early and that's okay, I'm sure I'm going to be really nervous when its not there.

I went in at 6w4d (6w3d by O date] and we saw a flicker and the HB was 124.
ETA: The u/s place wouldn't even see me until I was at least 6w2d. My OB didn't even want me going until 7w so that I didn't get discouraged if I didn't see anything.
