Gotta second teh FireFly suggestion - only problem being it was only one season, so you get through it pretty quickly. Could be good or bad, depending on your view.
West Wing, Grey's Anatomy, the HBO series Rome and Boardwalk Empire, Big Band Theory, and Showtimes The Borgias. Boardwalk and Borgias are still in contract for more seasons, but Rome was a very well done 2 seasoner- so it makes a good "quicky" marathon.
Mad Men, for sure. I will love life when it returns in April.
As guilty pleasures - Moonshiners, Duck Dynasty, Maury, Real Housewives of any city in 'Merica, and all the Teen Mom's and 16 and KU. I will watch (and re-watch) 17 episodes in a row of any of the above. I love mind-numbing TV with a glass of wine and some popcorn
Lost is great since it's over. So you get to watch the whole thing. I like Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Revenge, and Girls (on HBO - and only through one full season). I've heard great things about Downton Abby so I'll probably check that out.
I love marathons! I'm currently in the middle of a Dr Who marathon (the newer ones).
I also love: Once Upon A Time, Lost, Arrested Development, Gilmore Girls, Firefly (or anything Joss Whedon), How I Met Your Mother, Friends, House, Bones, Grey's Anatomy.... so many good options!
If you like British Comedy, then Fawlty Towers and Red Dwarf are always good for some laughs.
What shows do y'all watch in marathon form? We don't have cable, only Netflix and Hulu. So I'm looking for some inspiration. TIA!
Us too! I love being able to watch on demand whenever I want. I'm currently obsessed with a Hulu Exclusive series called Litttle Mosque. Hulu also has season 1 of Downton Abbey.
Netflix has The Office, a personal favorite of mine.
I have to agree with Greys Anatomy. DH watched in marathon style after watching my freak out during season 6 ending.
The Wire is hands down the best show I have ever seen. Season 2 is a little slow, but it is just arching into season 3. The character development is flawless and the cast is incredible.

Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, Raising Hope, Big Bang Theory, Gilmore Girls. Flipping love Gilmore Girls. I'm sure I've seen the whole series at least 5 times.
Without a doubt Sex and the City. I've seen every episode like 20 times. Literally. I will never get bored of that show. Also love True Blood, Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives
