Success after IF

I don't want to go to work tomorrow...

I used to like my job. Now I dread it. I just want to stay home with LO.  Anyone else feel this way?

Re: I don't want to go to work tomorrow...

  • I completely felt that way and ended taking a year off. Then went back part time which makes it better. Sorry you feel this way.

  • I also went through this. I actually quit my full time job and started another job part time so I can have lots of time home with my LO.

  • I definitely went through this when I started back to work. I actually had a lot of anxiety about being away from DS, which went on for several months. Unfortunately being a SAHM isn't an option for me. Over time things got a million percent better. I am lucky that my mother in law takes care of him so that helps a lot. If you know your little one is in good hands it makes going to work that much easier. And you might not really hate work but you feel that way because you have more fun things to do at home with your little one. Either way, I hope you can find some peace with whatever you need to do.

  • I am sorry you are feeling this way :( it doesn't help that you are in transition with nanny's & don't have peace of mind at work.  I hope things get better with new care for your LO.  Hugs to you.

  • YES!!!! Especially this morning. Grayson was upset because he just wanted me to hold him and it absolutely broke my heart dropping him off at daycare. I feel like I barely ever see him during the week. Sigh. I know just how you feel. ((hugs))

  • Yeah, totally what everyone above said.  My job is not that bad.  It is actually a good job for an attorney Mom. Still, I would rather be home with LO.  Oh well.  Maybe someday.

  • I feel this way too all of the time! I have a good job that I like but I just get tired of dropping DD off at daycare everyday. I think it just really makes us cherish our evenings and weekends at home. Hope it gets better for you!
