2013 is not off to a good start

Some of you might remember my earlier post about my husband having testicular cancer, which he is doing fine, he most likely wont have to do chemo. But now some a**hole stole my debit card info and cleared out my accounts. 2013 has been awesome!

That's awful! How'd they get it? Can your bank do anything about it?
It's great that your husband is doing well.
My husband got bit by our cat January 6th. His finger got so infected (in only about a day) that he almost lost it. On the 9th he was in the hospital having the first of 3 surgeries. He was there for 3 days then back home. On the 16th, he was admitted for another surgery and released the same day. That Friday we went for a re-check and he was admitted again for another 3 days for IV antibiotics. Now he's at home on 2 IV antibiotics and 1 oral antibiotic and has his finger splinted for the next 6 weeks.
On the 21st I got head-butted by my 2-year old and the next day I was at the doctor being diagnosed with a concussion.
To top that all off, dh's dog died and his grandpa was diagnosed with bladder cancer.
My 2013 sucks, too.
It stinks that people think its ok to be a thief. Grrrr! I hope your bank can help you sort it out and reimburse you.
My cousins DH had his identity stolen and they only caught the guy because he actually had a DL made in cousins hubby's name and got pulled over...in the Escalade the thief bought in his name! He bought 3 or 4 cars. Tons of huge tv's, electronics. It was over 100k. It was a huge mess.
That is great news about your husband! I'm sorry about your debit, and hope the bank works this out quickly for you. Around here (I'm in NJ), there have been A LOT of cases where people have reported money missing from thier accounts- its scary..
