So uterine lining is not my forte' so here is my question:
Does your lining change through your cycle? At my baseline yesterday the dr. and nurse said "I'd call it HH, wouldn't you?". After googling (of course) HH is the pattern of lining LEAST likely to implant. Does that mean that just for that time of the cycle it is least likely (because I had my period as well so clearly, would not be implanting anything at that point)? I know the thickness changes but didn't know about the pattern as I had not heard of this before.
I'm confused and now scared that I am labeled forever as "the chick with the HH lining". ![]()

Your lining definitely changes throughout your cycle. At the beginning of the cycle, right after AF starts, because your lining is being shed, it's very thin. Then your lining will thicken up as you approach O, will stay thick if implantation takes place and then thin out again when AF comes.
What part are you at in your cycle? Also it might be good you have a "thin lining" at this point in your cycle, some cycles are cancelled because the lining is too thick at the beginning, when it should be thin.
GL to you.
I stopped BCP's last weekend and started AF yesterday before the baseline appointment. So was on CD1- I don't know how thick/thin my lining was, it was more the HH "pattern" that scared me. The other patterns I am reading about are TL and IE and all I read on google was from infertility for dummies was that HH was the one least likely to implant so I didn't know if the pattern changes along with the thickness. Thanks!
I actually found the opposite in a recent study (link below) but maybe I'm not reading this right? Thought I'd pass it along in case it helps

3 Clomid IUIs -- BFNs
IVF #1 never made it to transfer
On "egg health" cocktail DHEA/CoQ10/FRC/Pregnitude/Melatonin
Starting IVF #2 for Feb 2013
Follistim/Menopur/Ganirelix
Cancelled mid-cycle due to high P4 levels early on.
OCPs again for IVF 2.5 mid-March. IVF 2.5 transferred two "gorgeous" 5-day blasts and BFFN. Even REI is baffled
On indefinite hold until a huge stroke of serendipity led me to IVF 3 May 2014
Testing found positive cardiolipins/APS, now on lovenox and intralipid infusions
Transfer of 2 5-day blasts and (FINALLY) BFFP!! 1st ultrasound shows two sacs and two HB, but one is sluggish, almost expecting vanishing twin Subsequent ultrasound confirmed vanishing twin, but my other Little critter looks fantastic!

Even if there is an issue with your lining, there are supplements they can give you during your TWW to help increase your lining.
Also, my 2 cents - ask questions! I go into my doctor with printed studies and say "either agree with this or give me contrary evidence." Be aggressive! :-)
