So today a gift was dropped off on my doorstep with no information as to who sent it. No name, phone number, nothing. I called BRU and there response was they can't track it. So am I supposed to call and ask people if they sent us a gift? So frustrated!!!! Anyone else experience this?

O14 January Signature Challenge: Snow Fails
I am having my shower at the end of Feb and invites just went out, so I am thinking it was someone before that. My suspicion is that it was from DH's cousins in NY (we live in Ca) because they were asking which BRU was the closest to us. I just don't want to flat out ask "hey.. did you buy us the baby swing" LOL
We looked in the box and there is no receipt, but I do know it was purchased from my registry. So irritating!
Same thing happened to me today. It was our PNP, and it was just the Graco box, nothing special. And all it had was the UPS shipping label. I called them. First I was transferred to the registry dept, then to someone for online orders. He was asking for an order number and I'm like there is no order number on here, if it is it doesn't say order number. So he transfers me to someone else that 'might be able to help'. I tell her what's going on, and she looks up my registry and gives me a transaction number and transfers me back to the online dept (and I am holding for close to 10 min for each transfer). I get a different person in the online dept this time, who's first and only question was what was the 10 digit number under my name on the shipping label, he looked it up and told me who it was from. Way to go BRU, way to go. I lost 25 minutes of my life that I'll never get back... HTH!
ETA: The 10 digit number was a phone number. After he told me who it was from, I looked up my cousin in my phone, and sure enough it was her cell number.
Thank you so much!!! I was able to figure it out.. and my suspicion was right.
This. And it was folded up small, and you couldn't see the writing. Just look for any paper attached to the box.
My initial thought is that it's not BRU's fault. It sounds like the person who sent the gift failed to fill out the message card field when making their purchase, and possibly did not even purchase while logged into your registry?
If that's the case, BRU is not at fault for refraining from telling you who the purchaser was. That would violate their privacy terms.
