Magic Sleepsuit sizes & big babies

I was looking at getting a magic sleepsuit. LO is already mostly in 9-12 month clothes, but the sleepsuit only comes in sizes 3-6 and 6-9.

How big/roomy is the sleepsuit? Any chance he'd fit in the size 6-9? I don't want to spend $40 on something that he's already to big for!

My LO is almost 6 mo old and wears 69 mo clothes, but he still fits well in his 36 sleep suit. I think he will be able to wear it a few more months. It is definitely worth it. LO had been breaking out of the Halo swaddle but wouldn't stay asleep with nothing. The sleep suit gives me 89 hours of uninterrupted sleep!
