  You should be right on time for the start of enrollment season. If you are looking for a state lottery funded program, go on the Bright from the Start website and you can search for your area. Unfortunately, everyone seems to have a different date for enrollment so you'll have to call around and check websites once you find some locations you are interested in. You can also try for the Prek class at your local elementary school. Cobb County schools should have the info on their website.
  I don't know of a way to check for private programs besides just googling.

  We sent our son to the Georgia Pre-k program at Kiddie Kollege and will most likely send our daughter there. Kiddie Kollege is in Marietta City off of Whitlock or Dallas highway. Not sure when enrollment is. You can call and ask Roxie The Director. And if you can enroll ask to be in Ms. Patti's class. She is in the main building and several of the city teachers have had children go through her program. If you call tell her Kiersten referred you. Not sure what part of town you are in.

  Gavin is in the GA Pre k at our Primrose on Wade Green. We have been soooo pleased. I was nervous b/c he was in Primrose private preschool and I was worried he might be bored but his teacher has been wonderful and he has thrived.   Sunshine house on Shallowford and primrose on Johnson ferry near Shallowford both offer ga prek.
