Yea I won't post mine after all these small gains. Sad thing is I eat well too.
Yeah, seriously. I kind of feel like people HAVE to be under-estimating.
But, I'm feeling honest. I'm pretty sure I've gained about 20 pounds since my pre-IVF weight (I gained somewhere between 5-10 during IVF, then lost it all during by week 8 but now its back plus some). I'm up from 34As (yay!) to 36/38Cs, but I'm still wearing size smalls in shirts and my same-size jeans in maternity style.
FWIW, I think this is kind of a weird question. People gain all completely different amounts, depending on genetics, body type, pre-pregnancy weight. Is your doctor fine with your weight gain? Then that's all that matters.
thank you for posting this! I gained about 6 lbs during IVF, and only 12 pounds at my home scale from starting weight Labor Day before I cycled. The OBGYN's scale says I've gained 22!! Liars!!! My doctor is not concerned which is fine by me. I go to the gym and eat healthy, so I'm not so concerned about getting it off after my little man gets here!
Yeah, getting all those weigh ins during IVF seems to have really tempered my worry about the scale at the OB. I'm just like... eh... okay, so I weigh more than my husband now (he is shorter than me).
Hooray for the 15+ crowd!

YIkes. 20 here and now I feel like a fatty. Pre-pregnancy I weighed 145. Trying to be more conscious of what I eat. At the beginning I only had enough MS for me to eat constantly but not puke. Then it let up and then came the holiday feasting. I haven't had a coke in a week and a half though! Baby steps I suppose.

My doctor was concerned that I wasn't gaining enough. Like a PP said, I think it depends on a lot of factors. I started off a little on the underweight side. I'm feeling a little pudgier, but I'm embracing it!
As always happens on the bump, only the people with small gains post.
I'm 22 weeks and I've gained 20 pounds. I am thrilled with that. A pound a week for a pregnancy is pretty normal.
I weighed 127 when I got pregnant was in the best shape of my life. I ran a 5 mile race at 8 wks pregnant. I am swimming, yogaing, and still in great shape fitnesswise. Anyway, these posts make everyone uncomfortable, but the reality is, no one posts their starting weight. So it's not relative.

Well, I actually don't own a scale. However, I weighed myself at my sister's about a week ago & I had gained about 7lbs. I'm sure it's more now. Especially with all the ice cream I've been stuffing my face with.
23 pounds at 19 and a half weeks. Eating carbs is new and fun. I gained 53 last time and lost it all. I diet excessively when not pregnant and also had parasites just before conception, so I was def a little emaciated.
Im probably close to 25 pounds and I'm at 19 weeks. Prior to pregnancy I ran between 6 to 12 miles a day and ate enough to sustain that activity level. After I got pregnant, everything went to hell - I stopped running, morning sickness made me eat like crazy (and a lot of junk too), and voila 20 pounds gained in the first trimester. Now I've evened out to what I think is a slight more normal weight gain. At 17 weeks I was up 22 pounds...
22 weeks as of tomorrow, gained about 14 I think. I eat whenever I'm hungry, and always try to eat healthy, I wouldn't want my baby eating junk food so I won't either.
I started out not gaining much of anything the first trimester. Up 1 pound down 2 pounds so basically the whole first tri was a wash. but during the month of Christmas and New Years I really backed on the pounds 6 in one month. So as of my appointment last week I was up a total of 7. I have been trying to eat more healthy and exercise more, so according to my scale at home, I am down 2 pounds from the 7 I gained, but the doctors office scale always seems to make me heavier! I am overweight to begin with so the doctor is very happy with my little weight gain. I just wish I would have a bump already!
I was significantly overweight to start I'm down 16lbs at 19 weeks. My MW is thrilled since the baby is still growing on target. Someone of my size doesn't always have to gain a ton but I'm sure I will be posting gains in the end of my 2nd trimester and into my 3rd.

I used to jog with my dog all the time, I've been so tired and the weather is always crappy here this time of year. I am not worried about loosing the weight, it will be nice out after the LO is here and I will start my ass kicking Jillian Micheals workout DVD's again. I was embarrassed to post my weight but I thought it would make someone else who has gained a lot feel better
Re: Post Your Weight Gain!
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
