Bumbo?

Have you tried it with LO? When do you start? This is a new baby gear item since I had my older two boys (9 & 7 years ago!). I've put O in it a few times so far but he's not ready I don't think...he looked too slouchy. What's your take?

I think it all has to do with LOs neck strength. I don't recall it having a specific age range(I'm probably wrong) but DS1 didn't use it until he was around 3 or 3.5 months. DS2 will be 3months tomorrow and we still have yet to try it out.

I just put my DS in one of those highchair-straps-to-a-regular-chair sort of thing, and had him on the floor, and he liked it okay for a few minutes (he really wants to sit up, but doesn't quite have the strength for it, for more than a few minutes).

I'd say test it out again in another week or two - maybe it'll work better then

We started last week when LO was 10.5 weeks old or so. She's been really good with tummy time and has a strong neck so we started out with just a few minutes at a time. She won't stay there for more than 5-10 minutes at a time but its a nice change of scenery for her and us

Yeah, he's 9 weeks so I'll try it again in a few more, see if its more comfy for him. And I agree about the change of scenery. We have it on one of our dining table chairs...can't wait for him to sit with us while we eat )))))))))

Depends on neck strength. I've put Porter in it a few times since last week but not for very long....he seems to enjoy it

We started at 8 weeks. She's not that into it and lasts about 2 minutes before the screaming starts. But she does look around quite a bit in that time so it seems to be working.

We started trying it about a week ago. B also looks pretty slouchy but we have been putting him in there for a minute or two each day. He has been trying to sit up with all his might and he seems to love being up and able to see everything!

Sean loves it! After a few minutes he'll begin to lean, but usually fix himself once something else catches his eye. We've been putting him in it every few days since he was about 2 months old.

Hallie started in hers around 2 months/8 weeks. She's just over 3 months now and does really good in it!
