so we find out tomorrow if our little ducky is a girl or a boy. We have names picked out for a boy (William Anthony) and for a girl we liked Abigail Marilyn. DH and I are debating on changing on the girls name (I still like Abigail the best but DH not so sure). We still want to use Marilyn as the middle name (DH mothers name is Linda and my moms name is Mary so its was a good mix)
Here are the other names we were thinking:
Dana Marilyn
Deeana Marilyn
Gabriella Marilyn
Elena Marilyn
Joanna Marilyn
Leanne Marilyn
What do you think?
Re: rethinking baby girl name
I like Elena, Dana, or Abigail. Elena is my favorite of the three and flows very nicely with Marilyn IMO.
As an extra tid-bit, I know a Dana who is probably one of the nicest, most genuine, people I've ever met. Sometimes I'm partial to names where the person who represents them are truly great.
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
I'll be honest- I like Abigail fine, but I really dislike the nn Abby. So, I think you have some great (better) options here. My thoughts:
Dana Marilyn- I like Dana. Seems refreshing.
Deeana Marilyn- Deanna? You spelled it strangely to me. I like Deanna. I actually prefer Diana though and think it's really classic and beautiful.
Gabriella Marilyn- too frilly for me
Elena Marilyn- pronounced ellen-ah or elaina? I like the second pronunciation (and spelling best)
Joanna Marilyn- love
Leanne Marilyn- don't like the flow
I really like Joanna, Dana and Diana (if I may suggest that).

First off, I love Marilyn. It's my Mom's name, so I think it's an awesome choice.
I like Abigail, but I also really dig Elena and Joanna. I say go with your gut ... It never steers you wrong.
We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

Agree!
I like all of your choices though.
