i am getting more follicles of a good size, but my e2 levels are low, which they were the last ivf. last was 1000 at retrieval, which wasnt corresponding with the amount of larger follicles i had.
this past monday it was 100, but i had a few 14mm size (and 8 or so 6-10). =/ my dr is going to try to let me go a day or two longer to see if letting them go a bit bigger will help . the problem is i already have a 19 and 18 and have to try to push this until Monday. i am doing ganirelex i just don't want them to go overdue so to speak. while doing injects only i NEVER had an e2 issue, so i have no idea where this is coming from. My bloodwork is also showing as normal on all counts, so my lack of response and weird e2 is confusing me. any thoughts?
I am so worried this means i am going to have crappy egg quality. My last IVF i had two great looking blasts, but this doesnt necessarily mean great egg quality does it? my dx has always been PCOS only, so this is all throwing me a curveball ugh

You could just be a slow starter plus the Ganirelix will falsely lower your e2 levels so it could be higher essentially than it seems to be. Especially since you have some follicles of larger size, I'd venture to guess that's the case. What was your e2 today? Since its only your 2nd appt. I wouldn't worry just yet...
And yes, you're right, great looking blasts don't necessarily mean great quality...at least thats what my RE tells me based on the fact that I've had 2 out of 3 cycles with "perfect" embryos but all BFNs.
