Small Baby

We just had our anatomy scan and baby boy looked so cute and healthy - all organs looking good - 10 fingers & 10 toes! I'm 20w3d and the baby measured 10oz. Our doctor is having us come back in a month for a growth sonogram because she she he's measuring a bit small. Has anyone else experienced this?

Mine measured about the same, but I'm having growth scans monthly anyway, so I'm not sure... They said everyhting was fine though, didn't even make a comment about the weight.

Our baby girl was 10 ounces at 19 weeks. She was a little bit small percentage wise, but the doc said she was measuring fine.

I haven't been to my doctor yet to talk about our A/S but with M she measured small too, throughout my entire pregnancy and she was born a happy and healthy, full term, 6lbs 14ozs. She's been in the 3rd percentile for weight since she was born and she's 14months old now.

I was 21 weeks when we had our scan and he was measuring 11 or 12 oz so it sounds like your LO is on schedule to me! Keep in mind my degree is not in the medical field

but that's what I know, yo.

I was 19 weeks 6 days at my scan yesterday, and they said baby was about 9 oz. the tech didn't say anything about that being too small. She did say she thought I might be closer to 18 weeks 4days according to all the measurements she was getting.

It looks like you're 10 under the average weight for your dates. I would really try not to worry, doesn't look like a big deal unless the growth is Fallon further behind.

ours is measuring small so we've had more u/s to get a check on its size.
