After naps, Q and I sit on the couch and eat string cheese together. He's loves sharing with me, and we also "chat" while we're snacking. Its one of the best parts of my day and I will never forget this little things we did together, long after he wants to eat his string cheese alone.

When I go in to get her up in the morning N greets her sheets then we turn on a low light and she sits in my lap on the floor to read a story or two. After that she wants to "eat" and will go over to the glider with her lovey and she nurses while playing with her bear. These quiet and happy moments help my day start of right no matter what.
Morning snuggles - I'll cry the day he doesn't want to. He wakes up and DH brings him into our bed. He'll drink his cup of milk, snuggle with each of us, and watch a few seconds of sesame street. Then he's either wrestling with us or gets down and runs the house.

When I ask for a hug and I'm not holding him or near he drops everything and runs into my arms I love it!! I don't think he will find the same excitement much longer.
Right before I put her in her crib, she gives me a kiss on the lips and then puts her head down on my shoulder to give me a hug. And then lunges for her crib
She's moving to a toddler bed in the next couple of months, so I'm sure the routine will change a bit.
Almost every morning, when LO wakes up, I get him and put him in our bed (even though I've been up for awhile). We just lay there, poking each other, giggling, talking, rolling around, and just having some fun together before the day begins.
After daddy does the bath time ritual, she sits in my lap on the glider, drinks her cup and I read a story. After she's done with her milk, she turns around and gets cozy right in my arms resting her head in my shoulder. It isn't going to last, but I love it.

Our bedtime routine, consisting of bath, story time, and lullabies. We've recently started practicing pointing out body parts on the face too. He loves touching my face, and starts smiling and laughing when we do it. He just gives me the sweetest little smiles before bed.

Re: fleeting rituals
After her bath I wrap her up in her towel and then pick her up and we make funny faces in the mirror and at each other. We crack ourselves up.
ETA: I'm not sure how much longer it'll last. I'm sure soon she'll be too busy or too big to have her momma hold her like that.
