Refried beans (PIP)

I made refried beans in the crockpot yesterday and Alex loved them so much!
He started out with a bowl and spoon, but couldn't get it in his mouth fast enough and quickly started to take fistfuls and stuffed them in his face, lol!

     On a side note, I am LOVING the curls. What an ultimate gerber baby. ::ahem:: Toddler.

    Hilarious! I love the pic. I'm going to have to steal that recipe! Did you soak the beans overnight before you cooked them? I noticed she said she didn't in the recipe and I'm curious if that would make them a little too "chewy" for lack of a better word...

    I did soak them overnight, because I read that this makes them easier to digest. So far, so good! ;-)

    Wow!!!  He's gotten so big!!

    We are working with the spoon for yogurt, but he'll get frustrated and just dive right in with his hands too!
