Hey Ladies!
I have a 27 mon old who is a nonstop drooler! I mean his cousin was picking on him this weekend calling him, "Hooch"... Everyone keeps telling me he's teething but REALLY? Then I guess we've been teething since 3 mon old. I feel like it's getting ridiculous. He no longer takes a pacifier and can suck through a straw, blow kisses, make fish faces, and has even learned to swallow on command because I remind him so frequently. SO... anyone else with something similar? Not sure if the next step is pediatrician, dentist, or ENT but he's starting to get picked on at our church nursery like "eww why does he slobber", etc so thinking it's time to do something!
Re: Excessive Drooling??
Are his back molars making their way through?
DS is still drooling. He hasn't cut those last molars yet.
We just got DS evaluated with an Occupational therapist for this exact reason.
Even though he has a great vocabulary and can say 2-3 word sentences he has poor oral muscle development (he only drinks from a straw). We are starting him on speech therapy.
