We have humidifier and I put Vicks on her chest and feet. She has a non serious but still disrupting cough at night. She gets plenty of fluids during day so not sure what else I might do to help her sleep
Try elevating one end of the mattress with a pillow. That way the head is elevated and whatever is causing the cough may drain better or not cause that tickle in the throat.
Thx -- I was thinking about honey. I'd have to do it after she nurses though and that might be tricky. I've tried the plug ins but in her small room they are too strong.
I find LO coughs less when I keep up on the saline and wiping his nose during the day. On days where I don't get it all as well, he coughs more, perhaps because there's more gunk in there to settle and get in the way.
Re: Anything else to help night cough?
You could try Little Colds Honey Elixir, but just so you know, if you read the ingredients, all it is is diluted honey.
