How long did you wait after baby to take a bath? I've been thinking about it but haven't. Mostly not enough time.. but now that night time sleep stretches are a little longer i think it'd be nice

I was told I could after 2 weeks. I had a vaginaly birth but 3rd degree tares. With a CS I think it's 6 or 8 weeks (from what I remember my sister saying).

As a third time mom, I never waited. My births were water births so I never saw a reason to wait nor was I told to.

My OB told me I could take baths right away. I had a vaginal birth with a 2nd degree tear. She said the warm water would help with healing and keeping the area clean, just not to soak for too long because it would also speed the stitches dissolving (I allowed myself 20 mins until I felt sure my stitches had dissolved)

I had a c-section and I took one at 4 weeks pp, it helped me with some of my surgery pain. I just waited until I stopped bleeding.
