When is your shower?

At what week during pregnancy did you/will you have your shower? I will be just shy 30 weeks for mine. I thought this was a little early, but because of conflicting dates it was the only option. Just wondering! Have a great day everyone!

My mom and my cousin picked the date for mine and I am worried that it is a little too late... They picked April 21 and I am due May 16, so I will be just over 36 weeks. That doesn't leave much time! I am worried that it's a little too late, but I figured I won't worry about it for now, I guess...

Mine is February 9....I will be just 36 weeks. I picked that date because DH works a rotating shift and will be off that weekend. Hope I can make it until then Tongue Tied

I was a day shy of 32w. I pushed for it not to be any later then this because I was afraid of having her early, or sometime in Feb and I wanted enough time to prepare. We still haven't put anything away from the shower and are still sorting through it. Our furniture is coming in two weeks and I will be on leave from work so I can get cracking in our nursery!

I was 29w4d at mine. I work every other weekend and I will very likely be delivering at 38 weeks. Because of that, I didn't really want to push it too much farther.

Mine will be in May sometime, so I will be just 22 - 26 weeks. I have to travel to it though and that just seemed the best time to do it.

I was 28w when I had mine. The holidays made planning hard so we did it early, but I will say it was nice to have time to organize and I wasn't uncomfortably pregnant.

I will be 28 weeks. A lot of twin moms said to do it before 30w because after that you start to get really uncomfortable.

Mine will be on 2/10, I will be almost 27 weeks. It's a bit early, but I have heard other moms of multiples suggest having it before 30 weeks. I would like to be able to put things away / return things / buy things we still need before I get too huge and don't want to do anything! DH's work/travel schedule also factored in when we were choosing dates. He's traveling too much in February

Mine is February 9th.

I will be 32.5 weeks. At first I thought this was too early - now I think it's PERFECT. I originally wanted it later but am so glad it worked out this way.

I am starting to get much bigger and feel like this is the end of the window where I could look good.

I'm not buying clothes, or pretty much anything until after my shower. Which is stressing me out at the moment b/c I feel far behind - so I'm glad I am leaving almost 8 weeks to get stuff done.

My personal opinion - better to go too early than too late - I know a few people who had the baby before the shower. No one needs that added chaos during an already hectic time.

I will be on 35/36 weeks and showers are back to back Sat/Sun for family & friends. We had to delay because we are moving into a new house in 2 weeks!!

I was getting so nervous that if my shower was planned too late, but I feel better seeing some of you getting yours around the same time Smile

My first shower is just shy of 32 weeks and my second is just shy of 33 weeks. The date was the only part of the shower planning that I really had to have my say on. I wanted to be able to still enjoy the showers, as well as complete any returns/exchanges before I got too far along. I didn't want to be 9 months pregnant trying to make returns and exchanges and trying to get everything set up.

Mine was last weekend at 33w2d. We planned for a three day weekend for me and it was two hours away. I knew any later than that I'd be too uncomfortable to ride that far and that was almost true anyway.

I had 2 smaller ones. My family one was at 30 weeks because everyone was in one place for the holidays. My friend one was a couple weeks later. I'm hosting one for my best friend this weekend and she's only like 26 and a half weeks, but that was because I wanted to make sure to get it in before I pop, and early February was busy for her. I think you're fine!

Mine will be at 31 weeks. I'm glad to not have it any later so that I can have plenty of time to get things organized, purchase anything we didn't get but need, etc. I'm a planner so I'm ready to get things planned and organized.

Mine was at 35 weeks. I wish they had done it sooner. Typically they are between 30 to 35 weeks.

A day shy of 36 weeks. I know it is probably pushing it to drive 3 hours each way to go but I wanted to wait until my little sister got back from Italy. I hope I make it.

My CA shower will be the end of April so either at 26 or 27 weeks, I believe (don't have a calendar in front of me to confirm this). I know it's early but it's pretty much the only weekend we can do this as I'm leaving until after the baby is born a couple of weeks later.

Not sure if I'm having one back home. I'm guessing someone would throw me once since it's our first and our family is baby shower crazy. I just haven't heard when or who yet.

15 weeks....REALLY early...but we're moving 3000 miles when I'm 17 weeks sooooo....of course my friends want to do it before I leave. I can't really expect them to travel, and with twins I won't be able to travel back 3000 miles in my 3rd tri for one. So, you do what you can
