Need toddler room suggestions

Hi,

I love our nursery (pic below). It's yellow and pumpkin orange with a big white giraffe decal that I love. My problem is that I'm not sure how to morph this into a toddler room. I am tempted to add red or green, but would like to make the room more feminine. Changes I plan to make are:

1. Toddler bed (convert crib) or do a Montessori bed (mattress on floor)

2. Add continuous short/two level expedit bookshelves under window for length of room

My problem is what third color can I add to make this a fun and perhaps more girly room? What goes with orange and yellow?

    I think accents of pink would look great!

    It is pretty. I would keep the colors, adding girls accents like framed pictures hung on ribbon. Or, an eggplant color would work for accents like pillows, a rug, etc.

    Excellent. I wasn't sure if pink would work, but it's good to hear that you guys think it would. Eggplant could be great too (I'm thinking a rug) and I love the idea of pictures hung with Ribbon, etc. :-)

    Not sure how you feel about aqua or even robin's egg blue, but I think one of those would be beautiful with your existing colors. I'm not one for traditional girly pink though!
