So I did something completely out of character and commented on a childhood friend's husband's post about welfare. He posted some idiotic comparison of welfare recipients and wild animals that really bothered me. This is like the third day of douchtastic posts from him and this one was too much. I can't believe how far apart on the political spectrum someone who used to be my best friend and I are.

    Is it your bf or her husband? My bfs husband believes in wearing FUR. Thats right he wears FUR! I think fur is gross, but I know he thinks that not her. She is stuck explaining how her husband isnt gay.

    Apparently in their circle him wearing a black and white striped fur means he is. She tells me men hit on him all the time...mostly in the winter.

    I hold my tongue (or my keyboard in this case) daily on fb.  I mean, it's bad.  I have a good amount of people hidden from my wall because of this.  If I actually unfriended them, they would get all kinds of butthurt.  Funny thing is, I had a few friends drop off my fb list once I came out as atheist, and I didn't get my panties in a wad.

    I drop friends all of the time for racist or homophobic comments.  I don't care if anyone gets butt hurt.  :)  I drop and block.
