Hi! I have 3.5 month boy/girl twins. When they were younger, taking them out alone was a breeze since they slept the whole time. However, they have been way more alert and won't sleep through outings anymore. After a rough go at Wegmans, I am terrified to take them out alone by myself. They are unable to be awake in their infant at seats without crying and screaming.
I am wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I am hoping this is just a rough patch and when they get a bit older and I can move them into a stroller without seats it will be better. It was also super hard to try to care for two crying babies alone, out in public. Any encouragement or advice is welcome!!!!

Re: Taking twins out alone?
Hi there. It does get easier. My twins are 8 months. I notice that they sometimes get cranky at Target b/c I like to stop and browse (and they don't like stopping and starting). At the grocery store I always have my list and I keep moving. Maybe they are too warm? Are you unbundling them a bit since they are inside?
As far as crying babies in public... Wegmans is the perfect place to take them! I would go occasionally for lunch. A gentleman came up to me and told me that he was the father of 1 year old twins and that they come here all the time b/c you can eat and leave if they have a meltdown. No waiting for your check and you can take your food to go.
